The scope of an investigation is determined based on the human rights/ workplace harassment issues arising in the complaint and the evidence required to make informed recommendations.

Our neutral Investigators seek to fully understand the complainant’s allegations, the respondent’s position as well as any information obtained from witnesses.

Our investigations result in a report that provides the decision-maker with an analysis of the facts to enable an informed decision regarding appropriate action.

Conflict resolution services can assist to develop and sustain critical relationships internal and external to the organization.

Effective resolution of conflict can lead to an increased awareness of personal responsibility as well as enhance communication and cooperation among staff, teams and departments.

WGD employs an interest-based approach to mediation and conflict resolution. Our trained mediators have experience in conducting mediations in a human rights context.

Training services are provided in human rights, diversity and conflict management.

Participants are provided with an understanding of the core elements of harassment, discrimination and a poisoned work environment and the impact on individuals and the workplace.

Participants in conflict resolution training enhance their ability to resolve interpersonal conflict within a work group through joint problem-solving that requires understanding of the needs and concerns of other parties to the conflict.

With an organizational review, the goal is to align people, process and technology to achieve the organization’s vision, mission and objectives.

The review encompasses an assessment of the current mandate, strategy, action plans, structure, policies, programs, procedures, administration, staff and client or customer relations and the preparation of a detailed report and recommendations. The report and recommendations are presented to the organization and key stakeholders. Assistance is also available with implementation of the recommendations.

Our recommendations are based on years of experience in investigating and mediating human rights complaints under a broad range of workplace policies.
