WGD announces that the newest version of its Juggler™
Staff Scheduling Software
JUGGLER III™
will be introduced in
April 2006
This latest version of the most successful Blood Center Staff Scheduling Software, originally introduced in 1988 and utilized by over 80 different Blood Collection Centers, has been developed to include the following features
- Web-enabled and a server-based application.
- Employee access for advising availability, receiving schedules, and e-mail notification of updates and changes.
- Multi-user access with full edit capabilities.
- Simultaneous usage between departments and/or regions.
- Reliable speed and power in the schedule compute function as previous versions of Juggler ™.
- Complete flexibility in reporting for operational schedules, management and ‘ad hoc’ reporting.
- Seamless interface with Donor Recruitment Event planning activities.
- All import/export functionality to other Blood Center operating systems supported.
- Easy upgrade path from all prior Juggler II™ releases.
- Built using the latest Microsoft web development technologies:
- Includes many new ‘scheduling’ features.
- Delivers a new redesigned, intuitive and easy-to-use web browser interface.
- No local machine software install or support required.
Juggler II™ will continue to be available, and supported by the WGD Help Desk, for those smaller centers that do not require a web-enabled, server based solution.
